Scholarship

College has special committee for scholarships to aid students in providing
information about different government and non-government scholarships.
Committee also help students in making aware, filling up forms, registration
etc.

anti-ragging cell

The college has a committee on anti-ragging since 2014. Considering the determination of the Central Government and the University Grants Commission to prohibit, prevent and eliminate the scourge of ragging of any type and the gravity of the issue, the college had constituted the formal Anti-ragging Cell comprising of the Anti-ragging Committee way in compliance with the UGC regulations on curbing the menace of ragging in higher educational institutions, 2009. The committee meets often and when needed to discuss directives received compliance from students who were ragged by any other students and put them into action. The anti-ragging committee ensures the implementation of the preventive measure and undertakes field visits to ensure ragging free campus.

internal complaints committee (ICC)

In compliance with the instructions of National Commission for women and guidelines issued in implementation of the directives of Hon’ble Supreme Court Judgement dated 13th August, 1997 in the case of Visakha and others vs. State of Rajasthan and Others on the subject of sexual harassment of women in the workplace, College had duly constituted a Complaint Committee for considering complaints of sexual harassment of women employees and girl students. The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) was structured during the academic year 2017-18. The details with regard to the Act & rules, role, functions etc. of ICC are as given below:

grievance redressal cell

All grievances of students related to the college or institution shall be first addressed to the College Grievance Redressal Cell (CGRC) constituted at college level.

student council

Constituted under section 40 of the Maharashtra Universities Act No. VI of 2017). There shall be student council for the college to look after the extracurricular activities of different student associations for better corporate life. The council shall not engage in political activities.

The Council shall consist of the following :
i) Principal – Chairman
ii) One Lecturer nominated by the Principal
iii) National Service Scheme Programme Officer
iv) Director of Sports and Physical Education, if any
v) One student from each class, who has shown academic merit at the examination held in the preceding year and who is engaged in full time student in the college, nominated by the Principal.
vi) One student from each of the following activities nominated by the principal namely
a) Sports
b) National Service Scheme or DLLE
c) Cultural Activities
vii) Two lady students nominated by the Principal. The students memebers of the council shall elect from amongst themselves the secretary of their council.
